We tried the laid back position but that didn't ever take. Now, at almost 6 months, my favorite is just cradle and laying down (at night). I can pretty much do it anywhere now. Car, standing, any chair. It didn't work well for me when he was first born tho. I used the cross cradle when he was a newborn.
