A latte is mostly milk with a shot or 2 of espresso that flavors the whole thing, whereas if you only added a shot or 2 of coffee to a cup of milk, it would just taste like watery coffee.</p> <p>*ETA* I may not have answered your question, sorry. I don't think a latte is stronger than a cup of coffee since the espresso is diluted with milk. I don't love them....they are essentially over-priced coffees (to me anyways).</p> <p>I like my coffee to be smooth and milky and sweet! So, at home I make a "morning mix" coffee (which is essentially a light coffee) and I add 2 teaspoons of organic sugar and some french vanilla creamer or some original creamer. I like the cinnamon and or pumpkin/caramel creamers they have out during xmas.</p> <p>My all-time favorite drink is a chai though. My Indian friend taught me how to make it from scratch and OMG way better than the powder stuff. </p>
