SPF reflects light, and that's why any makeup with SPF in it looks crappy/ghostly in photos. So avoid SPF if you're going to be in photos! The Makeup Forever HD that @mrsbells suggested works great. I've had the same bottle for almost 4 years (i know, gross) but I don't use it all the time. </p> <p>If you want your foundation to last all day, use a primer and use a brush or sponge to apply it. It worked really well! I switched to Bare Minerals and used it for at least a couple years, convinced that it had to be the best thing for my skin. I kept having breakouts, though. Stopped using it and my skin cleared up! I had just heard such great things about BM and how you can wear it to sleep because it's good for your skin, etc. Definitely not the case for me. If you want to try it out, get a little sample or something, first.</p> <p>Now I use Almay Smart Shade foundation. It's pretty light coverage, but I LOVE it.
