Urban Decay Naked! I just started using this a month or so ago, and I am very, very happy. It's weightless, looks great (good coverage), and lasts.

Right now I'm using Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation. It's nice, but I'm still on the lookout for a long wear heavy coverage foundation that does NOT have an spf.

After reading this thread I think I'll try out Revlon's Colorstay next! I used to use it in High School and i liked it, I don't know why I stopped.

I use Lancôme for heavier coverage. I was able to use bare minerals when my skin was clear but not anymore. :-(

I could've sworn I wrote a response here....

Bare Minerals has SPF in it. SPF reflects light, and that's why any makeup with SPF in it looks crappy/ghostly in photos. So avoid SPF if you're going to be in photos! The Makeup Forever HD that @mrsbells suggested works great. I've had the same bottle for almost 4 years (i know, gross) but I don't use it all the time.

If you want your foundation to last all day, use a primer and use a brush or sponge to apply it. Otherwise you just add extra oils to the makeup and it won't last as long.

Urban Decay sells a setting spray that is GREAT during the summer, too, btw!

I used Bare minerals several years ago and liked it, but I switched to Smashbox Halo bc it's only one step instead of 2 steps w/Bare Minerals.

I got an awesome brush to apply the Halo, I don't use the flimsy buki brush it comes with and that made a HUGE difference....

I used Bare Minerals for a few years off and on. At first I LOVED it, but it quickly started to not work as well and gave a weird ghostly/powdery look, even after switching colors (especially in pictures). I've heard good things about Revlon and this thread has me even more intrigued!

@Alivoo01: is this GA's newest foundation? I think I got an email about it recently. I love all their makeup!

I use Giorgio Armani lasting silk foundation for special occasions and Clinique mineral powder for every day. The trick for me is concealer. A lot of foundations work for me as long as I use concealer first.

I use Bare Minerals and like it. I think they've changed their formula over the last year or so. I have oily skin and it doesn't stay on all day like it used to. It's still the best option for me. It works and it's affordable.

@mrsaudi: I would head to Sephora or Ulta and test it out before purchasing! It'll give you an idea of coverage and you can find out what shade works best for you.

I used Revlon ColorStay for a while, when I wanted medium/heavy coverage. It worked really well! I switched to Bare Minerals and used it for at least a couple years, convinced that it had to be the best thing for my skin. I kept having breakouts, though. Stopped using it and my skin cleared up! I had just heard such great things about BM and how you can wear it to sleep because it's good for your skin, etc. Definitely not the case for me. If you want to try it out, get a little sample or something, first.

Now I use Almay Smart Shade foundation. It's pretty light coverage, but I LOVE it. Never seems to break my skin out and the shade matching thing really works!

I also use Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer, and I find that it is light (not heavy feeling), but still provides adequate coverage. I tried BB cream (Dr. Jarts) but it kind of made my skin break out which never happens to me.
