I make a great pesto cream sauce but my most favorite pasta that I make is what I call "junk pasta". I take a bunch of veggies - mushrooms, olives, zucchini, broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes, etc - and either roast them or saute them in garlic, butter, olive oil and then toss them with pasta, fresh basil, a little heavy cream and freshly grated cheese. That's one of my go to dinners when I can't think of anything else to make. I also love tagliatelle with bolognese sauce as well. My friend and I found this random little Italian restaurant when we went to Milan many years back and went back days in a row for dinner. They had the best tagliatelle w/bolognese, ever. I think I fell in love with that dish then!
