E comes home smelling like T. I love it. I know she was snuggled on, taken care of, and played with her friends. It's also in our subdivision. I love that she adores my son. I love that he recognizes the other baby there and smiles SO big at them when we arrive. I love that I get pics and updates throughout the day. And I LOVE that she has given him a nap routine that (usually) carries over at home. I wish that I got a newsletter every day. </p> <p>The teachers! Well 2 of the 4 in her class. I love, love the one there when I drop off in the morning. She always gives me more information then the afternoon ones on how she did the day before. What she got into. That I know P gets so much love when she is there. That my friend texts me throughout the day if P seems "off" at all. That she gets to play with her friends (my friends kids, and another friend's kid) during the day, that my friend miraculously gets P to take a 2 hour long nap everyday!</p> <p>I am so thankful that I have a place where I feel SO comfortable sending her. That the teacher stays in touch with me over text during the day if I ask her anything; that they send out daily "newsletters" over email with what the kids did/who played with whom/where they went; that LO barely notices me when I get her because she's too enthralled with her teachers; that they have monthly get togethers for the families.... I am a bundle of nerves and dropping her off I was bordering on emotional, but she is familiar with the teachers (from visiting to pick up WJ) and she went to one teacher and then even leaned in for a kiss before I left her. </p> <p>Just heard from the director that she is happily exploring her classroom, and her primary teacher (who was WJ's primary teacher when he was in this room!) is already asking about her naptime preferences. I know she will be fine. But of course I am not!! ;)</p> <p>Sooo I will probably be 'beeing it up today a lot. </p> <p>What is your favorite thing about your daycare?</p> <p>I think today my favorite thing is that unless it is pouring rain or dangerously icy, they all go outdoors twice a day. </p> <p>Also, I love that LMW and WJ are together in the same place all day. There are two playgrounds, so LMW and WJ won't see each other during outdoor time, and WJ is upstairs in the pre-K room while LMW is downstairs in the toddler room. But they will be in the same room for dropoff time and pickup time so at least they will be together at the beginning and end of the day each day! </p>
