Ezra is 9mo so his food is pretty limited so far but he always has either an egg, a slice of toast or some oatmeal (pretty much the same for me too :silly: )

@MenagerieMama: Oh.... it was the sweet potato zucchini pancakes I got from hellobee! http://www.hellobee.com/2013/01/11/zucchini-sweet-potato-pancakes/

Just remember to add 2/3 cup of milk to it or it will be way too thick to set! I add pureed blueberries and sometimes chocolate chips to the batter too.

What is your recipe??? Care to share? :)

@irene: what's your pancake recipe? I also have batch frozen ones but mine is a banana/Apple sauce/oat recipe and Id love a veggie one! LO eats those and a fruit/Yogurt/spinach smoothie. On daycare days it's Cherrios and milk before leaving and then breakfast at daycare.

Granola and yogurt, a waffle, or baked oatmeal. Those are the standard options. Sometimes he has chex. We don't vary breakfast a lot because I want something fast and easy in the morning for him.

He's not a huge breakfast eater but I try to do a fruit, a grain, dairy and sometimes a protein. Regulars are nutrigrain waffles, banana, blueberries, strawberries, yogurt pouches, Cheerios, turkey sausage, toast w/ PB, coconut oil or butter.
I do eggs rarely because he's hit or miss with them and I don't want to clean the pan :silly:
Oh yeah and maybe once a week or so we do a smoothie with whatever fruit and yogurt I have on hand.

DD is not into breakfast these days. Typical lately would be a toasted waffle, some turkey sausage, and a fruit+veggie pouch. Plus milk. But she eats them sloooooowly over the course of the morning. 🙄

We usually do one of the following: peanut butter toast and fruit, yogurt and fruit (maybe with some toast if she is extra hungry), homemade whole wheat muffin and cheese and fruit. If I feel fancy, I will make pancakes/ waffles and breakfast meat but that is usually only when Daddy is home.

A fruit, a dairy and a grain. This morning it was cinnamon toast, yogurt and strawberries. I keep homemade banana bread, pancakes and muffins in the freezer and alternate one of those with oatmeal/cereal for the grain. Cottage cheese, milk or yogurt plus a seasonal fruit round it out. Sometimes I put a few sprinkles on Greek yogurt for fun. Fruit and yogurt parfaits are a hit too. We do eggs and bacon on the weekend.

For DD1 scrambled egg, fruit, toast...she loves toast and asks for it every morning lately. The fruit varies but is most often strawberries. DD2 usually gets the same thing minus the toast and with a banana or diced peach or grapes instead. Sometime Cheerios. They really love hard oiled eggs too. When we are out of eggs the girls love PB toast with their fruit. It's always a hit!
