Pretty sure it's because my mom always made sure I had the "perfect" conditions when I was little and I now can't do without.<br /> Cool - not too hot, 2 pillows (although only one that my head is actually on top of), comforter in the winter, sheet in the summer, feet have to be able to stick out from underneath, pitch black, some sort of noise (white noise, fan, etc).<br /> Needless to say it very rarely happens for all of this stuff to come together well every night for me.
