I'm another person with a DOR diagnosis. About a year ago at age 35 it was 0.79 (with an FSH of 12.72). I did acupuncture while waiting to switch insurance plans to one that covered fertility issues. I was finally ready to start a Clomid / IUI cycle after a year of TTC and 2 losses when I got pregnant naturally with a baby that seems to be sticking around (I'm 33 weeks). My doctor warned me that my egg quality might not be great with my DOR/age that that it was going to be a matter of perseverance and losses. I really want a 3rd so I'm hoping I have the strength to endure all of that again...

My AMH was .66 in January. Really low for age 35 (then). My FSH was fine though. I had no trouble getting pregnant-- but we sadly terminated our pregnancy because of a grim fetal diagnosis (not an egg quality or age related issue).

Mine was extremely low. I was diagnosed with DOR. My fsh was 12.9 and and amh was 0.21

We did fertility treatments including two unsuccessful iui's then decided to stop.

We got pregnant on our own! It is possible. Good luck

@SweetiePie: everyone's story here is so different. My AMH was crap and I was diagnosed with DOR but I've still been able to get pregnant many times. Unfortunately I had 3 mc and a TFMR due to a chromosomal issue but also fortunate to have a healthy DD and another on the way. I wish you all the best in this journey and I hope you get some lovely little eggs this cycle. I've been lurking over on the IVF board and am really cheering for you.

@delight: that's such a hopeful story, thanks for sharing! I have to do IVF for the pgd (chromosomal issue with me) so we are just done ever trying on our own (or ntnp). I should probably just get my tubes tied sinfe we have to do IVF anyway, but I can't bring myself to do it. But the fact that you were able to defy the odds by getting pregnant on your own is still so so helpful in believing that I'm not doomed!

@LibbyLou: I think we'll be cycling together on your first round and my 2nd, depending how this one goes. I'm here for you!
At this point I'm PRAYING for 6 eggs.
And fwiw, I had an AMH of 1.1 last time and I had 13 eggs retrieved. So I guess that right there is proof that you never know and why I should just calm down and take a deep breath. Woosahhhh.

I've been diagnosed with PCOS and my AMH was 13.9 last Oct. I was on fairly low stims I think, 187.5iu and end up with about 25 eggs... but they are mostly immature and crappy quality.

My AMH is 1.4 and I was diagnosed with DOR. Have not got pregnant from iui/clomid.
Ivf is expected to be 450iu daily of Gonal f. He told me I would be lucky to get 6eggs retrieved.

In December my AMH was 0.33. Our specialist, who we were seeing for recurrent losses, said we would likely have to to IVF or at least fertility drugs to have a successful pregnancy. We found out we were naturally pregnant in February, the week before we were doing IVF orientation. My FSH was also high at 13. I think we just lucked out but it took some time and losses to get here. All the best to you. Hope your cycle turns around.

@Trailmix: Thank you xo
They just upped me from 300iu gonal-f and 2 vials of Menopur to 7 vials of Menopur (3 in AM and 4 in PM) and NO gonal-f. I have a feeling I'll get cancelled tomorrow, but we'll see.

Well, this was 4 years ago but my AMH was .3 and my FSH was 20.3 (!!). Still managed to get pregnant on our first IUI with a very high dosage of Gonal-F so don't despair, there is hope!

I'm not TTC now but I think last time it was tested was .66 or something close to that. I was diagnosed with DOR.

So, since I'm having such poor response to meds this time vs 3 years ago, and my AMH is significantly lower than last time, it made me curious what others AMH level is. I know mine is low compared to "normal/healthy", but wondering where it falls in the world of HB IF'ers (if it's low or average for IF). Does that make sense? In short, I was told its low, but I want to know how low in comparison.

3 years ago I was 1.1 and they called that on the lower side/borderline. I had 13 eggs retrieved, 7 made it to pgd testing and only one was normal. All of my monitoring showed good/expected response to stims.

This time I'm at .495 AMH and after 6 days of stims, nada. It's as if I've taken nothing at all!
