Last week they worked on a project to identify where they live (street, city, state, country, planet). This week they are going into more depth with exploring countries. So, if I have 3 and I need 4, how many do I need....that is basic algebraic thinking in the early grades. I will have to check out that app! I am excited that we have so much technology that we can use to help kids see these concepts more concretely. LO never tells me what she does so it's nice to get a little update through FB weekly. </p>
