@kodybear: i think it's a combo of A has big hands + banana size! he does well with it, until he eats down to his hand size... then he gets frustrated trying to push the rest of it up! :P

@NovBaby1112: I also nurse her before naps/bed, then I never know to do it again right when she wakes up or a little while after...

11:30am: nurse
12:00pm: usually give fresh peach or plum to just gnaw on
12:45: nurse to sleep
1:00pm: Nap until 2:30pm
4:00pm: nurse

@mrsjyw: oooh man that's tough about the naps. No advice other than I know it sucks! Does he eat the whole banana? I think I need to amp up Lily's solids. She gets bored with eating after about 10 mins though.

@kml636: totally struggling with the 3 to 2 nap transition.

for the last couple of weeks, DS has been going back to sleep after our morning nursing session, his days roughly look like this:

6/630 nurse, back to sleep 'til 8/830

eat a banana

10 nurse or bottle

11 nap

mummum snack or small 2 oz puree

1 nurse or bottle

3 nap

4 nurse or bottle

530 4 oz chunky puree

630 bath

7 nurse/sleep

prior to the last cpl of weeks, he was doing 3 1 - 1.5 hour naps. he's been FIGHTING SCREAMING for naps the last three days. :( the only way he'd nap is if i nursed him and slept w him or in the car... i think he's cutting his top FOUR TEETH

I'm also struggling with switching from 3 to 2 naps and how many solids to give her. Naps seem to change daily...

If I'm home with her, it's 3 solids and if she's at daycare it's two solids...

my LO's schedule is roughly -
7am bottle
8am 2oz solids
9-11am nap
11am bottle
12pm 2oz solids
1-3pm nap
3pm bottle
430-530pm nap
530pm 2oz solids
7pm bottle, bath
730pm sleep

i think 2 feedings a day sounds good at this age tho. you could do a snack maybe around lunchtime? my LO is starting to love mummums!

N is still on 3 naps and 2 solids a day. Not sure when/if I should add a third solid feeding since my supply has gone down since he started STTN. I've been pumping after every nursing session and an extra pump before bed, drinking lots of Mothers Milk and eating oatmeal everyday. Thinking about supplementing but the dream is hard to give up. Anyhoo, N's day looks roughly like this:

6:15 - nurse, back to sleep until 8/8:30
9:00 - solids
10:00 - nurse, nap
2:00 - nurse, nap
5:30 - nurse, nap
7:00 - solids
8:30 - nurse, bedtime
