My LO wakes up to get nursed around 6 to 7am. By the time I finish feeding him I am awake, and he is asleep and I know I've got about an hour to myself. That motivates me to get out of bed and have a leisurely shower, coffee, etc.

i wake up at 6am, my cell phone alarm wakes me up, then I nurse my baby, put her back in her crib asleep. The I go to the kitchen and prepare her bottles for day care, pump, brush my teeth, fix my hair and then wake her up, dress her up, put her in carseat and we leave for daycare

@Coco Bee: I'd rather be able to sleep in! My body just won't let me. I could so easily just do this stuff during nap time. Or when DH comes home. Sleep is most important :)

@artbee: I've thought of doing that... LO doesn't get up until 8-8:30 as well but I have been so tired because we wrestle him to sleep every night and it's 10-11pm before he's down for the night. So I am always so tired. But I would love time to myself in the morning..

I have my morning routine down to the minute, ha ha. My alarm goes off at 5:47. I hit snooze once, and it goes off again at 5:57, which is when I get up. I go downstairs, feed the cat, and have a few minutes snuggle time with her (she's a big cuddlebug). I am in the shower by 6:10. After my shower I put on my makeup and then blowdry my hair. Then I go back upstairs to wake up Hubs and snuggle with him for about 10 minutes (he's a big cuddlebug, too). At 6:50, we both get up. I get dressed while he's in the shower, then I straighten my hair. I usually finish up around 7:15, pack my bag for the day, fill my water bottle, and we're both out the door by 7:20.

I usually wake up at 6am. If lo isn't awake yet I take a quick shower and get ready for work. If he wakes up then I change his diaper, nurse him and if DH is still home I will hand him over so I can get ready for work. If DH already left then I put him on his play mat and take the quickest shower ever. (Not sure how I am going to do this once he is really mobile. Right now he just scoots himself in circles). Once I'm ready I get him dressed and then get our bags ready, bottles/extra clothes for daycare, and my pump bag. Usually we are out the door by 7:30.

Today I learned that I should wait to get lo dressed until we are ready to go. Lets just say after I picked him up to put him in his car seat I had to change both our outfits and now have to wash his play mat :/ Gotta love poop explosions.

I usually wake up way before I need to :( My LO doesn't wake up until about 8:30, but I'm up by 7. Gives me time to get up, dressed, and do some stuff on the computer. I do Pinterest for my MIL's business, so that's when I have time to pin, check my email, etc.

LO starts to fidget in her bassinet/rock and play, so I scoop her into bed, snap on My Brest Friend, and nurse. Then the hubs gets up to change her.

Depending on what time it is, we'll either go back to sleep for a couple of hours or I'll get up to pump. Of course, this will change when hubs goes back to work next week and I go back in October. :(

LO usually wakes up about 10 minutes before DH leaves for the day. He gets her up, changes her diaper, and brings her to me in bed, where I nurse bleary eyed. LO goes back down for her morning nap about an hour after waking up.

Nice! I usually hit snooze until the last possible second. DH works odd hours so he's usually still fast asleep but this morning he was up and about and it was kind of nice (even though I told him I missed my alone time lol).

My husband was so sweet and got up with DS this morning so I could sleep an extra hour. It was wonderful, by the time I woke up, DS was back down for his first nap. It's kinda nice having my first 1-2 hours awake without a baby... but I had a to-do list and since I just woke up during naptime - I'm too tired to do it!

What do you do to wake up and get moving in the morning?
