Used to be ridiculous because of Christmas lights and keeping our outdoor hot tub on... this year we shut down the hot tub so it should be a lot less.

We did go on the budget plan though, so right now it's $200/month year round. I expect a refund check in May.

Oh I forgot too our Utility bill is for Heat and Electricity too. So it's just combined, I don't even know what the charges are seperately

Oh man, I thought my 150$/mo in winter was good! We've only been in the house since January, but from Jan-June the bill (electricity, sewage, water) was under 200$, then it jumped up with the heat. I can't wait til it goes back down again!

Oh yeah, I should clarify that the bulk of our winter bill is for gas, not actually electric.

Electricity is usually around $40-$50. Our heating oil costs... are just to painful to talk about.

We live in an apartment and last winter our most expensive gas and electricity bill was about $35. I know it'll go up a bit when LO is here, but there are times I'm so thankful for apartment living.

Our winter heating costs are between $150-$250 a MONTH for every month between November and April. And we only keep the house at 68 or below. It sucks. :/ (that's for gas heat, the electricity bill is another $100+ a month, every month).

I'm not sure yet, I'm really nervous though. I know my mom pays like 200-300 in the bad months. I think the worst for her one month was almost $400......that's what we get for living in WI!

An arm and a leg?

We live in a very open plan house. Our windows are drafty and we have radiators. It's ridiculous.

Pre-LO, we hardly used our heater and would just wear extra layers or use a space heater to save on our electricity bill. I think we typically paid about $100. Post-LO, our winter electricity bill was almost $180!
