I flew at a day shy of 36 weeks on a 4 hr flight back from visiting DH's family for Christmas. I had my 1.5 yr old in tow and it was fine - no swelling, no discomfort.

One of my good friends is getting married when I'll be 33 weeks with this LO. I'd love to go to her wedding more than anything but it's a 7 hour transatlantic flight and I'm just not sure it's going to work. Travel/short term insurance might be the bigger roadblock than the actual flight though...

I flew at 36 weeks. It was a family member's wedding 1.5 hours away so it didn't seem that risky. I was already pretty swollen and it was 95 degrees out so I didn't notice anything as a result of the flight.

Flew 9 hours in economy at 28 weeks - I don't think my swelling ever really went down after that! (delivered at 37 weeks for preeclampsia, so that may have made it worse)

The outbound flight at 26 weeks wasn't too bad though - just uncomfortable.

I flew at 28 weeks, for a friend's wedding. It wasn't bad, but I do feel like it was the beginning of swelling for me.

I have to travel for work sometimes, and I would have kept flying until around 34 weeks if it had been asked of me.

Somewhere in the second trimester. This time I'm avoiding any flying-- it was so miserably uncomfortable!

33w exactly. Had what I now know were actual contractions on the plane, LO was born 16 hours later. No way to know if it was a factor.

I flew a fair amount for work when pregnant with LO1 and stopped at the end of the second trimester. It worked out well because when I was diagnosed with GD I had a lot more dr appointments and wouldn't be able to keep up with that and the work travel. Through 2nd trimester was fine for me. I drank lots of water and wore compression socks.

26.5 weeks with a 9 hour flight and a 45 minute second flight with delays on either end. I did not enjoy it. I couldn't imagine being further along and flying.

I flew at 32 weeks. It was only an hour flight for our babymoon. I got to float in a pool, sleep in, and get a prenatal massage, so it was worth it!

30 weeks I think with my first pregnancy and it was fine but it was only an hour long flight. This pregnancy I didn't travel in my 3rd trimester at all. I have no desire to sleep anywhere except my own bed!

I flew at 26 weeks and was still pretty small so it wasn't bad. DH didn't want me to fly past my 2nd trimester. We had some ladies in our group prenatal session go preterm so he was worried about it!

I flew at 32 weeks and was mis.er.a.ble. My legs swelled up and my ankles felt like they were going to explode. I drank a ton of water but it didn't help. I wouldn't do it again!
