&#60;p&#62;It's so sturdy that I tried to knock it open when I was in a rush and couldn't.  And it swings open, so no weird jiggling to get it back in place.

We have a really nice original banister and I don't want to drill into it, but want something a little nicer and more convenient. Any recommendations?
