I was amazed and pleasantly surprised. I didn't for for a VBAC for a plethora of reasons but the simplest one is no doctor where I live does one. I would have had to drive at least 45 minutes for doctor appointments as well as the hospital. But it's because it's a large, regional hospital with a great NICU, so pregnancies that may have complications that are more likely to end in csections are sent there. @bunnylovesbear: Oooo are you pregnant??? My midwives knew how badly I wanted a vaginal birth (obviously if my baby was in distress I would have wanted a c section... I was just worried about an "unnecessary" c/s.
