@crazydoglady: a little tip...the absolute best remedy for mosquito bites or anything itchy, even poison ivy, is Vicks vapor rub! It's insane how well it works! We live in a very buggy area and always get poison ivy and it helps so much

@Sams Mom: @Boopers: @Kaohinani: Thanks for the insights! I am pretty sure it's mosquitos from when DS comes out to the living room to sleep in the middle of the night. They aren't crazy itchy, so I dont think they are chiggers.I feel bad for the poor guy but put some hydrocortisone on the bites.

Maybe chiggers? Do you live in an area with chiggers? We recently experienced our first incident with chiggers and a ton of bites popped up all of my son’s body out of nowhere the day after he was exposed to them. Those bites look similar to what his looked like.

@CrazyDogLady:
It looks like (a) a spider bite [although 15 seems a bit extensive for a spider] or (b) a very hungry [female] mosquito. My DS has had both and the welts look similar to that which you took a picture of. I hope you figure out what it is and your DS is okay. 💓

Yes a mosquito can live in your room and get you multiple times over a couple days 😕

I get a welt like that with mosquito bites too, hopefully that's all it is and the little effer meets his end soon and leaves your baby alone.

DS has been waking up with these bug bites and I can't figure it out. He must have 15 or so. :(It's only DS so seems unlikely that it's fleas (especially since our dogs sleep with us and never go in his room) and I have never seen a flea on them. I just tore apart his entire bed after washing all the bedding yesterday and found nothing except a teeny tiny spider. Any thoughts? Can a mosquito live in your room and feast on you for days? One of these bites has healed more than the other.
