We have the chicco keyfit. DD always looked in a better position than my friends daughter in the graco. The graco baby always looked slumped forward. Maxi cosi is one of the lighter ones but has a lower weight limit and can be outgrown sooner. The local carseat tech always recommends the chicco to people.

We've had two different grace seats (thanks to changing stroller compatibility..) and they were both good but since I think most infant seats are about the same I like whatever is lightest. I think we need a Chico this time because we're trying to set up three across.

We've only had a Britax (only have one car and we re-used it for 2nd baby) and I dislike it. It is heavy, hard to carry, it sticks in the base sometimes when I try to release it, and both my babies sweat in it a ton. I don't have anything better to recommend but just wanted to add that info. Ours is the original B-safe from 4 years ago.

We had a Graco Snugride Click Connect 35. I liked it because it was one of the lightest seats on the market and it fit well in my car.

I really liked our Graco Travel System. It was so easy to get him into the stroller and it as pretty light. We will use it for #2

@matador84: the canopy was much bigger on the Britax (although I read there are a few different versions of the keyfit so I guess I just have one with a really small canopy) and there seems to be more space in the Britax. My daughter looked so small in there but when she's in the chicco it looks like she may outgrow it sooner, referring to both length and width. Weights, buckles, handles were all about the same,

We had the Britax for our first two and loved it (albeit heavy). If it wasn't expiring I would use it with this baby too. We are leaning towards the Keyfit due to its narrow size and the hope that we can get three across in whichever new vehicle we buy. If space wasn't an issue I would buy another Britax for sure.

I've had both. I used a Britax for DD1 and then fell in love with the Bravo for 2 so I got a used Chicco seat for DD2 since that was the only seat compatible with the stroller (yes, I'm a bit crazy!). I liked the Britax seat better but I liked the stroller options with the Chicco much better, which was more important to me since I used the seat with the stroller a lot.

We had the britax bsafe 35 and I felt like my guy was super safe and secure in it, but it was really heavy and he seemed kind of squished in there. We transitioned to a convertible (britax boulevard click tight) at 7 months. I loved clicking it right into the stroller though. I'll happily use it for #2, but thought I'd throw my perspective out there since you are considering the britax.

We also have a Chicco Keyfit (that I  ) so I can't recommend anything different...but wanted to make sure that you double checked the expiration on the base too? Our base has the same exp date as the seat, which is the only reason I mention it (although I'm sure that's not always the case!)

Our Nuna pipa is amazing. It is SO light. Super easy install with ridgid latch and a load leg. Easy to clean too.
It is one of the lightest seats on the market (which is a major reason we purchased it).

@Jennibenni: Good to know! I was thinking about possibly a Britax seat. I'm afraid I'll have buyer's remorse if I buy another seat but wanted to see what others thought!

I have a Chicco Keyfit too, but just wanted to chime in that my friend has a britax seat and It seems really uncomfortable to carry because the canopy is right up against the handle so you can barely fit your fingers through, much less your arm, if you're using the canopy. I also noticed the same things in pictures of a friend's baby in an uppababy seat.

We have a Chicco Keyfit that expires in November so I am in the market for a new seat for our next baby. I don't mind keeping the same seat so then we have two bases, but I'm thinking of possibly a smaller seat since it is so bulky (or seems to be). What infant seats have you loved?
