DD always looked in a better position than my friends daughter in the graco. The graco baby always looked slumped forward. Maxi cosi is one of the lighter ones but has a lower weight limit and can be outgrown sooner. It is heavy, hard to carry, it sticks in the base sometimes when I try to release it, and both my babies sweat in it a ton. I don't have anything better to recommend but just wanted to add that info. My daughter looked so small in there but when she's in the chicco it looks like she may outgrow it sooner, referring to both length and width. If it wasn't expiring I would use it with this baby too. We are leaning towards the Keyfit due to its narrow size and the hope that we can get three across in whichever new vehicle we buy. I used a Britax for DD1 and then fell in love with the Bravo for 2 so I got a used Chicco seat for DD2 since that was the only seat compatible with the stroller (yes, I'm a bit crazy!). We transitioned to a convertible (britax boulevard click tight) at 7 months. I loved clicking it right into the stroller though. It is SO light. Super easy install with ridgid latch and a load leg.
