He understands it's bedtime. Is starting not to cry when I say no more books, and only cries for a minute or two when I put him down (just a protest cry...he will lay down in his crib quietly, until I open the door).</p> <p>Talking is going much better too. She is now officially TOTALLY daytime potty trained. We are on day 4 with zero accidents, and have been going out in public and she's been using the public toilets no problem. She's still in a diaper/pull-up overnight.</p> <p>Her sleep. She's consistently sleeping 11 hours every night. This is huge for us, since she didn't start STTN util 22 months. </p> <p>For M;</p> <p>Taking a bottle! She recently started taking a bottle, and now I give her a bottle of formula (or have my DH do it) once every couple of days just to give myself a break. This is a huge change from what had been going on for the past several months...I was very exasperated/exhausted for a few months there because of LO throwing food, not going to bed easily, waking up a lot in the night, resisting the car seat, resisting brushing her teeth, throwing lots of tantrums, biting, crying at daycare drop off, etc. All of those things are much improved at the moment. She is still strong willed, but we have not had as many tantrums. She is eating well, brushing her teeth (a vibrating tooth brush was the fix!), going to sleep like a dream, STTN (mostly), getting in the carseat easily, waving bye to me at dropoff... basically she is like a new child. I think the difference is mainly that she's no longer teething, but also that we are also better able to communicate and understand each other a little better. But since I started getting DH to put A to bed twice a week bedtimes have been easier, as she doesn't have this whole "omg mummy MUST be next to me the entire time I'm in bed or the world will end" thing going on quite so much. </p> <p>Also, naps. I've been stroller napping the girls in a side-by-side and they are both getting a good, long nap. She has been surprisingly agreeable this week so bathing two at once...big time saver!</p> <p>Toothbrushing- LO 1 went to the dentist last week and she loves the bubblegum toothpaste that was in her goody bag. Brushing has been a dream.... "I need my bubble gum! Please brush!"</p> <p>I will enjoy these phases because I know they won't last! </p>
