I got her a Pentech Renue (with a touch screen and pull out keyboard… I had a little hope that she could text) but I think it's a bit too complicated for her. I had trouble navigating the phone. I'm going to have to return it and get a flip phone. BTW, the phone was not free! It was only $50 but still. I thought there would be at least one free phone. They were offering free smart phones (that required data plans). My dad has a non-smart phone, too. I think my dad could text and use a smart phone.
