I kept up with spinning, the elliptical, and weight lifting, but lightened the loads and intensities.

I think I read (or maybe heard) that you can't do ab exercises when you're pregnant. Is that true? Or can you do them first semester but not later? Anyone know? :)

@Tequiero21 - a good friend of mine is pg with twins. She had m/s through her 4th month. She was finally able to eat normally again after that. Hoping it's like that for you, as well!

i'm with habesbabe. i've been meaning to go for walks but morning sickness made me VERY lazy and i don't want to get off the couch. i need to make a resolution to try walking now that i'm finally in my 2nd trimester. (still feeling queasy though and using that as a bad excuse).

uh, you gals are a LOT better than I am! We're just starting TTC and I've done jack-squat... just like I've done for the past year, telling myself I would "prep" and get fit to start trying. Eeek!

I'm a little over six weeks and haven't been hit with morning sickness yet. So, I am still working out about 4 x a week - elliptical and running mostly (well, really jogging). I take it much easier but it feels good to be active!

Walking, every night. We have a lake across the road from our house and we walk around it. It's not very far, but enough that we feel active.

I'm doing a weekly aqua natal aerobics class. It's a great work out (seriously. I was shocked how sore I was the next day!) and a fun way to bond with women all along the pregnancy journey (from 12 weeks to 40+!). The best part is that isn't only £2 a session! I get to start a yoga class this week, so we'll see how it goes. I joked with my midwife that I'm going to end this pregnancy in better shape than I started it :)

I'm just barely pregnant (hehe!) but I'm walking and plan to continue to do so. I was running (okay, maybe more walking briskly?) and I know it's okay to do anything you were doing before you got your BFP (within reason) but honestly I'm just paranoid. So I'm taking really good walks with the dogs and we got a treadmill for when it's too cold for me to walk much outside, especially when it gets snowy!

Before I became pregnant I thought I'd be jogging into my 9th month. But as soon as the first trimester m/s kicked in, I was knocked out and haven't gotten been able to get back into it. Now, its just prenatal yoga 3x/wk, but i do feel that the cardio is missing. What are you doing to stay active?
