@littlek: the high top ones do, and they provide more support.

@autumnlove: @artbee: Do Tom's stay on your LOs feet? I bought two pairs because they were adorable. They spend more time in his mouth then they do on his feet.

The shoes that have worked well for our LO are Pediped, Stride Rite and SKR.

Tom's were my lo's first shoes. She also has big feet, so it was hard to find something in a soft sole. We git the high top Tom's though, they were perfect for her.

Now that she's a better walker and I don't have to worry about a soft sole she wears converse. They're much cheaper, but still support her feet.

@autumnlove: She does have a pair of Toms that are too big right now. I got them on Zulily for like 94 cents with the credit I had saved. I wish they fit but it shouldn't be too long (they're about an inch too long).

My LO wears See Kai Run shoes from the Smaller line and Stride Rites! I wait for their big sales and buy two pairs... LO also has a pair of Toms that are too big right now.

I haven't had luck with other brands. I had to return Converse, Pumas and Uggs.

@BelugaBean: I got a pair of See Kai Run prewalkers from myHabit a few weeks back for like $16!
If you google babysteals archive there are some Pedoodles for $17!
And oh, M's foot is 4.5" long but she was measured at a size 2.5 so I bought her 3s. I would take LO to get sized.

LO is really close to pulling up to stand so I figure it's time to get her some shoes. She has a couple of pairs but usually she's just barefoot or in socks. I want to get her a couple of pairs of sandals since it's almost summer and it's HOT here, maybe one pair of sneakers, and possibly a pair of flats depending on how much the other shoes are.

I was originally looking for good prices but I realized I'd rather spend a little more to get something supportive and good for her feet. But I'm at a loss because I have no idea where to even begin. She has a bigger foot (her foot is about 4.8 inches long at 9 months so for most things I've seen, that puts her in a 4 or 5). What brands do you recommend? I've been looking at See Kai Run and Stride Rite but I know there have to be more out there (and maybe more that are a bit cheaper).
