She was super fussy and I needed something to keep me sane while I sat in bed trying to feed her/rock her to sleep. I still use it every day!</p> <p>It's not as easy typing with though, so I still prefer to use my laptop when writing, but it's great for FB and browsing HB in bed. There's also a bunch of apps that help calm LO. Just that made it worthwhile for me!</p> <p>As for other tablets, I'm getting DH the Kindle Fire HD. It's small so it'll be much easier to carry around. It doesn't have a rear facing camera, but he doesn't take pictures anyway so alls good. I like it. I don't know that I would have sought out a tablet if I weren't gifted one, but I like it all the same. Some of it is not very intuitive, but I'm learning quickly. My husband did a lot of research before he bought it and that one got great reviews and is cheaper than apple products. I use it occasionally, but since it is primarily his (and to be used for his work) I don't get on there that often. My brother has the nexus 7, which is great if you want a small 7 inch portable tablet. I love it! I use it all the time. We are an anti-Apple household, so we have all Android products, haha. I use it mainly to borrow digital books from my library, surf the net, facebook, shop, etc. I've watched Hulu once or twice, and I'd probably use Netflix if we had it. It's a great little tablet!
