Her favorites are:</p> <p>Playing with her “babies” – feeding the baby a bottle, giving the baby a pacifier, giving the baby a teething ring, rocking the baby, singing to the baby, carrying the baby around and showing the baby things in the house “it likes” (lol)</p> <p>Going shopping for food – LO will drive her little shopping cart all around the house and gather up various play food items, and then tell us what she “bought at the store”</p> <p>Cooking in her kitchen (soup and pancakes are her favorite meals to make)</p> <p>Doctor check-ups: she sings the check-up song from Doc McStuffins and “checks” me and DH with her light-up Elmo wand. She tells us that she has to "check the soup". It is so, so adorable. She especially likes anything where she gets to act out the mommy / daddy / teacher role. Here current favorites are:<br /> - "Story time" where she reads a book to us, and we sit on the floor and listen<br /> - Nap time -- she puts us down for naps and tells us when we can get up<br /> - Bakery -- she "sells" us cookies or cupcakes. She usually then tells us that we can't eat what she sold us because "it's still too hot"<br /> - Just this morning she started playing a game of "picnic" where she set a cloth down on the floor and used her toys as pretend food (and my kindle as a pretend plate!)</p> <p>What pretend games does your toddler play? </p>
