I even work for Apple and sell Macs.... And I just built myself a PC in January and switched back. Lol! I loved my iMac but the software incompatibilities and other odd stuff and the non-upgradeability just really started to aggravate me.</p> <p>I'd look at Toshiba and Sony for a PC laptop. The new Sony Vaios have some really cool features.</p> <p>The thing about the MacBooks. The Air is not powerful, at all. It only has. 1.3 dual core i5 in it. When I could pay less for one with a 2.5 quad i7 (not to mention more RAM and a 1TB harddrive), that is just crazy talk. The traditional MacBook Pro is 2 years outdated because they haven't been upgrading up it with the other models. And the MacBook Pro with Retina doesn't even have a full video card unless you spend to get the $2700 15" model. The 13" models still only have dual core i5 processors. Not to mention that the Retina model has all it's hardware components soldered together inside, so if anything breaks.... It's trash or it costs a fortune to have it fixed. </p> <p>Honestly, they are really not keeping up with the laptop market.. You could twice as much computer with a PC and spend less. </p> <p>I'm not saying I hated my Mac or it was crap... I'm just saying that I like my PC more.
