It had the potential of going bad and telling parents to NEVER tell their daughters they're beautiful, let them wear dresses, etc., but this one really didn't: it said, "tell her she's pretty brilliant, too", which I thought was great. I think both boys and girls need to be encouraged in the things they're innately passionate and good at! That being said, I never really had an interest in science/tools, etc., and if I would have I know my parents would have encouraged me in it (they were super-supportive of me always getting dirty and playing outside!
