They both also have a lot to give. We have a good stable household and value system. My heart breaks and suffers along with each child abuse headline I read. I rarely open the link to read but occasionally I do. In case you're still wondering, we decided to foster because we want to adopt. However, once we were introduced to the system we realized that fostering in itself is something we should do. It's incredibly hard, but I don't have enough reasons not to do it to override knowing that these kids need a safe home and a lot of love. My aunt's family (through marriage) has fostered for 30+ years, and their family is this huge, extended loving household. It touches my heart to see how many lives they have touched! They had their struggles of course, and they say it is not easy (they usually did tween/teenagers) but they said the rewards out way the struggles. What was your deciding factor, did you always know? </p>
