Once it's done we say 'all done.' On the flip side, if he's asking to get down from his chair during a meal, I'll say "are you all done?" If he says no, then I tell him to keep eating and he almost always puts another bite in his mouth.</p> <p>Honestly, I just love telling my LO a bunch of different commands to see how much he understands and what he can do! Lately, i love these 2 phrases:</p> <p>"Not yours" has been a very effective alternative to "no". She puts it back right away without a fight! Well, except if it's a straw...then she gives me the saddest man in the world face.</p> <p>"Clean up time!" She dropped a bowl of cheerios on the floor, and after saying the phrase she picked up all the cheerios and put it back in the bowl! She'll do it with most messes she makes.</p> <p>Any "magic phrases" you care to share? </p>
