Everytime she vomitted she would cry...that hurt my heart. She didn't understand. Even worse, DH and I had the flu too, she was such a sweetie and willingly let my mom cuddle her all day. I went back to work full time a couple of weeks ago, so he's been at daycare more (was two short days a week, like 9-4, and now it's 3 days a week from 8-5:30). Last night we were reading a story and talking about how the main character was feeling. And I asked S how he was feeling. He said "sad." I was surprised since he'd been in a good mood all evening, so I asked him why and he said, "I miss mommy and daddy." She has quite the timing because she only does it like if someone says a joke or something. But holy cow it's so sad.
