Truly no rhyme or reason. We just decided to send the "approved" food and then asked them to give whenever LO was happy or just up from whatever nap there was. I didn't worry too much about consistency, as most nutrition at that time was still from breastmilk.</p> <p>ETA: I'd start with earlier in the day than 5:30 because LO will probably take some time to get used to digesting anything other than breastmilk or formula. Usually after a nap in the morning or afternoon. I wanted to be the one to introduce new foods since LO goes to daycare. Once we knew he wasn't allergic, we would send the same food to daycare for them to give after his first nap.</p> <p>Dinner is the last meal we added, and we still don't always do a true "dinner" at 13 months. I would like to do at night so I can give it to her, verses day care. She usually has a bottle around 430 at day care, we get home around 530. Then I nurse at 630, right before bed. So should I do it at 530, right when we get home, before bath? </p>
