The day before I had a late 4pm lunch with my mom (Italian) and then didn't feel like eating all night. Woke up to labor so no food then either and I finally ate at about 10pm. I went into labor around 10pm and checked into the hospital a little after midnight. My labor started that night and continued till the next day (contractions started 11pm, I went to the hospital around 3pm next day, had my baby at midnight). </p> <p>DH went to work in the morning and my mom forced me to eat something. Oh boy. That was the worst thing ever. She just won't quit making me eat something for hours, claiming I need energy when I go into labor (please note that she had me with a scheduled C-section and I am an only child, so you wonder how much she know about how it felt).
