Baked chicken, casseroles, bagged stir fry from the freezer section at the grocery store, sandwiches, frozen pizzas, freezer meals for the crock pot. I make it while DH is napping - one serving goes in the crock-pot, and the other in a freezer bag for a busy day. I always factor in lots of left overs for anything!

We ate a lot of takeout too. We'd also get the veggie trays from the store and nibble on those all day, cheese & crackers, sandwiches, lots of easy stuff! That's so great your friends have helped out so much!!! We came home from the hospital stay to a roast in the crock pot and it felt so decadent not having to start it...it was just ready for us! :)

Baked or grilled meats and salads, spaghetti, meatballs, etc. I actually enjoyed cooking because it was a nice break from baby duty all day. Hardly anything ever takes more than half an hour.

Casseroles that I could throw together while LO was sleeping, grilled meats and veggies (I prep, DH cooks), sandwiches, and we still keep frozen pizzas at all times.

I baked a few chicken breasts and had salad with chicken for a few days! We had some meals in the freezer too. Sandwiches are easy too.

We've been spoiled by friends bringing dinner 4 days a week since the week after LO was born. Starting in July we're on our own. What are some things you could handle making in the first couple of months? I need to make things I can step away from since LO is nursing so much... Or things DH can handle on his own. I'd love some ideas!
