I put in about half a cup of dry orange lentils, peel and chop in a sweet potato and sometimes a carrot, add a bit of spice and a tiny bit of salt, and it makes a ton (I freeze some in a silicone muffin tray). I have provide more specifics on the recipe if you'd like. Zucchini fritters have been a staple for us, too. I think the cheddar cheese in the broccoli ones helps cut down on the strong veggie taste, too. </p> <p>Oh yeah, fish goes down easy, too. My LO prefers that over meats. Also sometimes it's about the cut of meat to her. She loves meat off the bones. And can I say that I'm totally ignorant on how much to send? (ETA: DH is away. Homeboy does such a good job with this. :heart: that guy.) </p> <p>E is 13 months old and eats fruit, yogurt, and cheese pretty reliably. But chicken is a total hit or miss. Consequently, he goes with a container of sliced cheese, a container of grapes or strawberries, a greek yogurt, and a sippy of milk. I feel like I'm starving my kid. (We always feed him breakfast at home, and I usually pick him up around 4:30 pm.) So I guess this is lunch and a snack. </p>
