I LOVE every new word, and the fascinating order in which she is picking them up. </p> <p>LO has been a daddy's girl from the beginning, and "Dada" was one of her first words she used purposefully. Well, she finally just started saying "Mama" at 14 months a few weeks ago, and then this week she started saying "Mommy! Mommy!" in the mornings when DH gets her out of the crib and she runs into our room. It is the sweetest music EVER. </p> <p>The other day she kicked a ball down our hallway and said "Goal!!" My husband and I looked at each other like "Did she really just say that?" Then she repeated it a few times. Turns out our nanny, who is from Central America, taught her that. So cute! I really struggled in the newborn days and I told myself every day to wait for the smile. And it truly did make it all more bearable. </p> <p>And also sitting on his own. I got home from work on Tuesday and she ran to me, shouting "Mummy, mummy, mummy... look.... I got leaves!" then she ran into the lounge and brought me these two beautiful red/brown leaves. "I like leaves, mummy, I kicking!". DH said "she wanted to bring them home to show you".
