And D-drops, because then she doesn't have to buy them.</p> <p>Is she cloth diapering or disposable? </p> <p>An easy-swaddle blanket for sleeping (half off on babysteals today). (OR maybe get her 2, so that one can be in the wash). </p> <p>Also, some premium baby wash and bum cream, because the natural, expensive stuff is awesome, but new moms often don't have the money to spend on that kind of stuff. Lots of brands are great (Earth Mama Angel Baby, Baby Burts, etc). </p> <p>Since she's having a summer baby: look into sun-blocking stuff....like a light cover for over the car seat/stroller or a sun cover for over the carrier. If you are in a buggy place, get her a bug net for the stroller. </p> <p>I can keep going: get her a stretchy wrap carrier, which is AMAZING with newborns. Some people swear by the Moby.
