I actually asked the pedi if it was normal because it happens so often! It's pretty funny, though...today E was napping in our bed and DH was pretending to nibble on his thighs and E farted on his head. DH had a very (purposely exaggerated) comedic reaction, and I just about died laughing. I was surprised to find out that saliva glands don't start working until then and he was not teething one month into life :) Since all the saliva was so new he was not aware that he should swallow it, so he looked like he was constantly foaming at the mouth. It's also when their tear ducts start working and real tears fall from their eyes. It was sad the first time I saw that as well.</p> <p>Anything surprise you? </p>
