If laundry needs done on a weeknight, he will make sure to put take it out of the dryer and lay it out for me. And he puts DD to bed and does bath about 90% of the time. And on weekends he gets up with DD and lets me sleep in. It has been a huge lifesaver for me and I appreciate how he made it a priority to work it out for our family.</p> <p>He gives me a foot rub most nights during this pregnancy.</p> <p>He also brings me little things home from his trips to surprise me, whether it's coffee, chocolates or some neat jewelry from a market. He almost always does the dishes in the evening before going to bed and sets up coffee for the morning. He folds most of the laundry at our house. He gasses up the cars and takes the garbage cans to and from the curb. I have a cleaner come twice a month to do floors and bathrooms. He works on East Coast time a lot and is up really early and works from home several days a week. I love it. Luckily DD sleeps in till 8 or later daily so I can play on my phone and drink coffee in bed for a solid 30 minutes most mornings.</p> <p>He also just planted 5 peonies we got on my birthday in the pouring rain without complaint. Then proceeded to fertilize the lawn and clear the gutters happily. For some reason it just struck me as so sweet.
