I got it for $2 at a rummage sale, so it wasn't a huge investment. We also live in a smallish apartment that is mostly carpet. No LOs and we don't make any messes that are so big the swiffer can't handle it. When we do have a mess like that, we bust out the good ole fashioned mop and bucket. Ha! I've been wanting a steam mop for ages, but haven't found a good deal on one yet. It gets the job done but it's certainly not the best. I'd rather have the Libman spray mop. It has a washable cleaning pad and you can fill it with the cleaner of your choice.
