Today (my anatomy scan predicted today as my due date) about a million people asked when I was due while I went out trying to distract myself. I busted out crying the first time, and teared up every other time, and all the ladies who asked were SUPER nice and said "I remember, honey. Your time will come." And no advice, and no bull.<br /> I LOVE people. Um, I have an OB and Dr. Google available. I am 38 weeks now, and will be induced next Thursday due to BP issues. I constantly get "I can't believe you are still working!" What else am I supposed to do? Sit home and twiddle my thumbs?<br /> I also had a nurse yell down a hallway yesterday "How far are you dialated now?" How is that ever appropriate? 'Are you even dilated?' (No, and thanks for reminding me)<br /> 3. She shared her own birth experience, telling me she went a week past her due date, had to be induced, which resulted in unbearable contractions, and 3rd degree tears<br /> 4. Said I'll probably be induced too<br /> 5. 'Good luck! Make sure you send me pictures ASAP!' </p> <p>ARGH!!! I should have told people I was due in June :( </p>
