She's worn them for a couple of years now and I already picked some up for this year. She doesn't find jeans to be comfortable. She can do the zip part herself, but usually needs help with a snap-button still. Leggings are definitely the easiest though! </p> <p>We also have some very soft jeans with an elastic waist that she's fine with too. But really, LO surprises me with how well she does with pants that button. She has a few pairs of jean shorts that have a zipper and a snap and she can get them off no problem, she just needs someone to snap the button back together for her after she's done, which her teachers haven't seemed to mind. Now she's starting preschool and I need to do some fall clothes shopping. Could your 3 year old get regular jeans up and down themselves or did you do something else? I'm fine with helping her here but she's going to need to be more independent at school. </p>
