Which, with the bedtime battles we've been having lately, means dinner is sometimes at 9. It's not ideal and by then we are mindlessly eating in front of the TV. </p> <p>I forgot- going up the stairs in our building is probably the worst right now. She wants to walk by herself, not hold hands, but she is so slow. And she stops and says "what's that?" to the same random stains on the rug every time. And touches them. And just stops for no reason. The entire time she tries to twist onto her back, crying, attempting to grab at the dirty diaper and fling it.....it's awful. I try to give her a toy to distract her, but that only works for about 30 seconds. Feeding her is also troublesome, but if she throws food now, the meal is over. I figure she's not hungry anymore and it's been much more pleasant for the both of us. Running errands with fia is one of my favorite things! I was actually bummed this week I had to grocery after bedtime and I missed my shopping buddy lol. But we have a garage so that is nice :) she does pull chewed up food out if her mouth but only if she took too big a bite or doesn't like something. That doesn't bother me so much. It isn't even the mess of it all I mind it's just that I want to be able to set a pile of food in front of her and let her eat or not eat until she is full and then we are done. But she requires so much management right now! We did something similar and made a show of it all going in the bin because she must not be hungry and she caught on quick. </p>
