In our dream land we plan on takinng the kid(s) to Japan, around Asia and hopefully do an epic trip through China for a few weeks (DH and I both went before we met, and both have longed to return)! As well as visiting Italy (DH's dream location).</p> <p>Realistically though, our finances are extremely tight at the moment, and so the only travel we will be doing for the next couple of years is between here in Ohio (DH's home) and New Zealand (my home). Thankfully we had saving earmarked from better financial times to do it with! I was in the Peace Corps in Kenya for 2 years, and got to see a lot of the country- really such a unique place.</p> <p>And I've been to the Giraffe Center! I don't know that they have a hotel (Maybe there's another sanctuary with a giraffe hotel? There are so many amazing places to stay!), but they have elevated platforms where you can get up close and feed them. They've got these long, slimy purple tongues! :grin: </p> <p>My bucket list consists mostly of places in Asia &amp; the Pacific- I've spent lots of time in Africa, and have been to Latin America a few times, but have never been to Asia! Or Hawaii! I would love to see any of the islands!</p> <p>Oh, let's be honest- If I'm given the chance to go somewhere, I've got the time and the funds...
