We bought a seat for the toilet but DS is not comfortable on it because his legs have to spread so far. We'll be getting a potty chair at some point. We arent actively potty training yet.

We have a fisher price learn to flush , it's a seat and has a removable ring. She only used the ring part , so waste of money for us. Cute though.

Another vote for the Baby Bjorn products! We have both the potty chair and the seat that goes on the toilet. We had the chair sitting around the apartment for awhile so he could get used to it, but he was not that interested. When we starred potty training for real we used the toilet seat and it worked really well. I ended up taking the potty chair to daycare since they helped with potty training and wanted a potty and it stayed there for maybe three months before he started using the toilet there. Now at 3 years, he is using our toilet without the toilet seat and we keep the potty chair in his bedroom and he sometimes pees there at night/early mornings.

The chair is really easy to clean and the seat is pretty universally compatible and the child can put it on the toilet by them self.

We have the Baby Bjorn seat with the lower back. Waste of money so far. LO will happily sit on her cousins cheap potty seat that goes on the toilet, but just fills up the 'cup' of hers with trinkets and carries it around the house.

Another one with the Baby Bjorn seat. We also have another one (can't remember the brand off the top of my head) that fits on the toilet but that one is for later.

She is not potty trained yet, but she does ask to use it occasionally. Other times she pushes it around the apartment like it's a stroller and sits on it fully clothed.

We also have the Baby Bjorn potty because my sister gave them to us. We aren't actively potty training yet, but DD will sit on it with her clothes on and say she's going pee pee so at least she's getting familiar with it! Depending on how she does with this one, we may buy the seat that goes on the toilet.

I have a Baby Bjorn potty because my mom gifted it. I will probably buy another one and a seat.

We want to get a potty chair or seat for the toilet soon just so it can become familiar for LO. We won't actively start potty training for a few more months though. Do you have an actual potty chair, or a seat that goes on the toilet itself? Why did you choose one over the other?
