She only used the ring part , so waste of money for us. We have both the potty chair and the seat that goes on the toilet. We had the chair sitting around the apartment for awhile so he could get used to it, but he was not that interested. When we starred potty training for real we used the toilet seat and it worked really well. I ended up taking the potty chair to daycare since they helped with potty training and wanted a potty and it stayed there for maybe three months before he started using the toilet there. Waste of money so far. We also have another one (can't remember the brand off the top of my head) that fits on the toilet but that one is for later. </p> <p>She is not potty trained yet, but she does ask to use it occasionally. We aren't actively potty training yet, but DD will sit on it with her clothes on and say she's going pee pee so at least she's getting familiar with it! We won't actively start potty training for a few more months though. Do you have an actual potty chair, or a seat that goes on the toilet itself? Why did you choose one over the other? </p>
