I'm making a short video right now as a fun personal project, and want to turn a couple of photos into a Ken Burns style video (i.e. basic panning and zooming) with a simple voiceover.

I tried to do it with a few iPad apps today, but didn't look quite right. So I'm thinking about trying iMovie for the Mac, which seems to offer a lot more control.

Has anyone worked with iMovie, or similar programs? Any recommendations on where to start?
