I prefer to find a quiet corner away from the flow of traffic though. I did have someone ask if I wanted somewhere more private like the bathroom, I think I was in the women's section of a department store on a bench against the wall, I don't remember what I said but just was evasive because she caught me off guard. I think she was honestly trying to be helpful, just in a misguided way.</p> <p>I also had some people who tried to say they were comfortable by saying oh what you're doing is nice and fine but it's just when: baby is too old, baby is uncovered, baby is making too much nursing noise or whatever their favorite gripe was. I've gotten lots more positive responses from men and women, and them sharing about how they were breastfed or breastfed their kids than I ever got negative reactions. </p>
