So hard to say what you'll need. I'm 34 weeks, just started having some swelling this week, but my rings still fit just fine.

@Torchwood: Those rings are awesome! I just got my stand-in ring at 26 weeks. I order a full side up from 6.5 to 7.5 and it fits well. You might want to wait til you really can't wear your rings and measure your finger then.

I usually wear a 5 and bought a replacement in a 6. I couldn't wear the 5 once I was past 20 weeks and the size 6 didn't fit for 35+ weeks pregnant, or for several weeks pp.

Mine were only a little bigger for most of the time, but got ridiculously swollen during the last 3 weeks or so, so much so that I couldn't bear to wear a ring at all!

I bought a really cute ring to wear that was a size up, and then I never got to wear it! I actually lost some weight, and spent most of my pregnancy a ring size down. Point being - wait until you're there, because it's totally impossible to know what size you'll end up being.

@Mrs. Lion: Yeah, I know that makes more sense. I'm just not sure I can convince DH to get it for me, and if I "need" it it might help, especially with our anniversary coming up in a couple months.

I would probably find something cute for $20 or less (kohls has tons!) And go half a size up. If it ends up being too tight in the end you could just get another cheapie if you have to. I would wait on the one you really really love for when you're back at the right size :)

My finger went up two sizes. When we were in Mexico I had to take my replacement ring off because it was too tight (it was really hot). I think you just have to wing it at the time.

If you got a replacement set to wear when your wedding ring no longer fit, what size did you get (relative to your usual)? Last time I was able to just wear a ring I have that's a quarter size bigger (my right hand is slightly bigger than my left). But I never went past 33 weeks, so I don't know if it would have continued to work, and they never went back to 100% normal so now they swell much more easily. At 12 weeks and in cold weather, I'm already having times when they're tight. I'm due in August (in the South, so HOT), and there's NO way I'll make it with just a quarter size bigger. But if I do get a replacement, I'm not sure what to plan for? Go a half size? More? Just assume that I'll have to resize up at some point? I do want to have something to wear, even if it's a $10 one from Claires. I just need something or it drives me nuts.

I REALLY REALLY REALLY want this one (the women's only, DH would never wear the men's), but I feel like it would be hard to resize, especially if I wanted to size it back down afterwards. https://www.etsy.com/listing/116629031/his-and-hers-star-wars-ring-set-sterling?ref=shop_home_active_3
