It is not tear-free, so I have to be careful around her face, but I think I've only ever gotten it in her eyes less than 10 times in the year we've been using it. I love that has very few ingredients (I think 5 or 6? And most of them are just saponified oils) and it also lasts FOREVER. We got a big bottle at Target for $15 on November 11th last year and I estimate I've still got a month's use left on it. Yes, it is expensive but definitely worth it. </p> <p>Tip: Most books recommend using a very minimal amount of soap when bathing babies so I dilute the body wash with water (about 40% shampoo/ 60% water) and put it in a foaming pump dispenser. Two benefits of the foam: doesn't drip through your hands and it's spreads easier while using less soap.
