I cut all the straps, including LATCH, out of all of the seats that were in the car. Though baby was not with us (THANK GOODNESS), her seat was. Insurance reimbursed us so we can get a new seat. What do I do with this one, though? It feels dishonest to donate it, because you just don't know. But I hate just throwing it away! Any thoughts? It is a Chicco Keyfit.</p> <p>And don't worry, we are all ok. It turns out that it is a logistical nightmare to total your car, but the important thing is that we were not seriously injured! </p>
