When they were younger, it was Dora (which I can't watch, but don't mind them watching), Clifford's Puppy Days, and Daniel Tiger. They never asked about much else, they rejected Sesame street, and I didn't offer many other options.</p> <p>These days, at 3.5 and 5.5, it's currently allll about Cat &amp; The Hat - they've recently added in a bit of Martha Speaks and Bubble Guppies (which I don't ever watch with them); the 3.5 year old likes a little bit of Sofia the First (which is what I vote for if I'm going to watch TV with them). So I don't really hate anything they watch - but to be fair, I don't know much about many other kids programs out there. They're starting to explore PBS Kids on their own, which I'm ok with, and occasionally they ask for something on Netflix, but want me to watch with them. I turn things off if I don't like the language (rudeness and butt/fart/underwear jokes are one thing that gets shows banned, stupid and pointless characters/plots are the other).</p> <p>I banned Shopkins after about 5 minutes of one episode - fortunately they didn't like it either....and I limit the My Little Pony viewing quite a bit.</p> <p>@cyndistar3: Like the terrible sitcoms with live actors? Trying to think what they are because I make him turn them off. Dinotrucks? TMNT. Some robo train show. </p> <p>Mostly my oldest likes Brain Candy type shows and my 3 year old likes Thomas and Paw Patrol. I think that kid wouldn't be nearly so horrible if his parents gave him the benefit of the doubt he needs and the positive attention he craves.
