Plus once our daughter was delivered she remained in the room in the warmer and that was passed the curtain so he was at both sides. The bed was still the most comfortable for me and DH sat at my hip level so I could still hold his hand and have his support but so that he could still see everything that was going on. </p> <p>He was great for the actual birth but had to leave the room when I delivered the placenta.
