I personally like a full, if there is space. If not, then a twin with trundle is fun for kids.

i was all for a full, but DH made a daybed, so it was a twin and it's great. we can each be in there with her and it fits her room well since they are smaller rooms and the girls will probably share sooner than later!

I'm leaning towards a full right now. DH is in a twin. We have a king, and if I had a full in DD room we could use for guests if needed. We also have a 4th bedroom that fits a queen size air mattress.

We did a twin with a bed rail. When our second moved out of the crib, he got the twin and our oldest got a full size bed that used to be for guests. Eventually we will probably get one of them a trundle bed so that the full can be used for guests when we have them.
When we visit my mom, LO2 sleeps on a full size so he doesn't fall out and LO1 gets a twin. I really don't think it matters too much and just depends on the space that you have. Like if you want kids to share a room go with the twin. If you want to be able to have guests sleep there from time to time get a full or queen.

I never thought of a full or queen, but it seems lots of people on HB like that option. DH thinks we should just do a twin. I'm torn. I don't think we will get LO his big boy bed before the spring so I have some time.

We already had a queen bed when dd moved out of the crib so she got that, though just last night we switched her to a full so the queen can go in the guest room. But I'm all for a bigger bed for snuggles, books, those nights when you just need to lay with them for a while. Unless you think she will need to share a room soon, I'd go full Or queen, personally.

DD will be going into a twin simply because we already have mine from when I was a child. If we had to choose I'm not sure what we would go with. We are leaning toward just two kids right now, but a third is a possibility, so I would be having the same thoughts as you. Maybe start with a twin, and if you decide on a larger bed later on go ahead and sell it.

We have a queen for dd1. It doubles as a guest bed when visitors are in town. I love the size because there is lots of room for DH, DD and I to cuddle and read books before bed. So I vote full or queen if you have the space

We are doing a room redo for DD at Christmas and getting her out of crib. Leaning towards a twin bed in case we have more kids so we can have an additional twin bed in the room. DH wants a full or queen. What have you done or works best when transitioning out of crib?

Ds went to a twin but it is kind of small...esp for cuddling!
